oh, who am i kidding... i'm not a writer.  i am very proud of myself for the things that i can do, though. mainly things with yarn.  

anyway, i missed sweet shot tuesday AND wordless wednesday.  to make up for it, here's a picture of sunny.  she's cute, so you'll be ok.

long time...

it's been a while.  sorry about that.  going to start back with the weekly pictures and such.  

life is progressing nicely.  i've been doing a lot of knitting and crocheting for people.  mostly baby gifts, but some hats and things too.  i'm teaching a crochet class for kids and a knitting class for adults at the salvation army in march.  VERY excited about that. 

i've been reaching out to authors lately for work.  in doing so, i'm wondering why i don't try my hand at "writing."  seems like a good way to let the mind loose.  i might try it with short stories first.  that way, if i suck i won't suck for 200 pages.  

on february 7th, we hit the 10 year mark since my dad passed away.  it doesn't feel like it's been 10 years.  sometimes i still think "hey, i should call and tell dad such and such."  it's a strange feeling, still, to realize that he's not here.  it's also still very hard to talk about.   i'm not sure when it's supposed to get "better."
